Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

Mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt in a bowl

Add the chicken and coat it

Wait thirty minutes

Put vegetable oil in the pressure cooker and turn it on

Put in the cumin seeds and stir them around until they start to pop

Put in the diced onions and cook until they turn golden brown

Tomato dices, coriander powder, garam masala, and red chili powder should all be added and mixed in

As the masala cooks, the oil will separate from it

Turn on the grill and cook the chicken until it's browned all over

There will be 10 minutes of cooking after the first whistle

The lid should be closed

Open the lid, let the pressure go out, and let the curry simmer until it gets thicker

Add fresh cilantro on top, and serve hot with naan or rice
