Pear & Blue Cheese Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 2 ripe pears, sliced
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 8 slices of walnut bacon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, and then shape it into 4 patties
In a pan over medium-low heat, cook the walnut bacon until it gets crispy
Take it off and let it dry on paper towels
For medium-rare, grill the patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side
If you want them more done, cook them for longer
Slice the pears and grill them for one to two minutes on each side until they get grill marks
Soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and honey should all be mixed together in a small bowl to make a creamy sauce
Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown
Spread the creamy sauce on the bottom bun of each burger
Then, put the beef patty on top, then the walnut bacon, crumbled blue cheese, grilled pear slices, lettuce, and tomato slices
Place the other half of the bun on top and serve right away
